Autumn is here! The holiday’s are over, back to school for the kids and routines in place again, along with healthy eating and exercise plans. Although it is equally great to have sense of order in our lives we do miss that sense of freedom that we have over the summer and we can ‘dip’ slightly if we don’t keep ourselves upbeat and positive, especially when the darker evening come in. That’s when Positive Parties should come to mind and if you feel your staff team, community members, students could do with a positivity charge for autumn/winter, then please do give us a call.
Since our last Latest News we have had a very busy June with our infamous ‘Go For It’ Positive Parties workshops for P7’s in Primary Schools and we were so booked up this year we only went back to existing customers and didn’t deliver to any new schools. We plane to start the programme earlier next year and run it terms 2 and 3 so that other schools will get a chance to take part in this popular PP workshop to ease the P7 pupils towards the big move to their new schools.
June also had us back in North West Regional College, a second time with the Craft’s Department, all men this time and they loved the workshop. Yet again 100% great feedback from the participants, which just proves a point to the skeptics who didn’t think the concept of Positive Parties would work for men! Positive Parties Founder and CEO Devlin always believed it would and she is delighted with the comments form this engineers and construction work lecturers.
“I really liked the complete experience. I learned howto be positive. I wouldn’t change anything about this workshop. It was great, very well done. William Semple, Assistant Head of Crafts Dept, NWRC
“A great positive learning experience, Many thanks.” P Harrison, NWRC
“I really liked the positive atmosphere and the fun.I learned new NLP and CBT tools. This should be promoted again throughout the college. Paul McGarrigle, NWRC
Our Positive Parties full day session with Belfast City Council, Community Services Team, at Belfast Castle was equally a great success with feedback as follows:
“I liked the fun aspect of the day linked to training. It was very enjoyable and educational.”
“I liked the incredible atmosphere and learned to recognize the power that our minds and actions have have on our live and choices. Thanks for the experience.”
“It was very very professional and really enjoyable.”
At the beginning of July we did some work with Irish Dancers and community organisation and then took a very well deserved 3 weeks off. August was full of meetings, marketing and prep for the last week of August we were full-on with Development Days for teachers staff, back at school. We were in Willowbridge School (Special Needs), Castlederg High School and St Paul’s Slievemore Primary School. ALL staff loved the Positive Parties workshops and again on the evaluations were excellent.
We also delver to over one hundred 6th years at St Mary’s College as part of their induction programme. The Positive Parties workshop helped give them some great NLP and CBT tools for the coming year.
The updating of our training manuals for our franchisees is ongoing and we will be announcing a date of the launch to potential franchisees soon.
Autumn is busy with our usual corporates, public sector and community organisations seeking our services, including Allianz, Tesco, Public Health Agency, Kinship Care, to name a few. Founder/CEO Denise Devlin has speaking engagements too involving tasters from the Positive Parties workshops at both Chamber of Commerce and Charity Dinner’s.
Irish Dancers are also booking both group Positive Parties @Dance workshops and individual Positive Coaching sessions.
