Happy summer folks. June has arrived and hopefully the weather will be warm and we can enjoy the fresh air, getting out and about in natural, having barbeques and connecting with family and friends and having fun in the summer sun! It’s not quite here yet, weather wise, but we have to be positive!
We had a busy couple of months since our last latest news. Lots of delivering Positive Parties and shorter interactive and fun sessions at conferences and networking events. PP Founder & CEO Denise Devlin was a Guest Speaker at the Women In Business NI Conference in Belfast in the 21st May, delivering an interactive session. She also delivered a Positive Networking session to Letterkenny Chamber on the 27th May.
Our contract with North West Regional College continues with Positive Parties team building workshops for staff departments. Our latest one was the CRAFT Dept, which was attendedn by 89% men who are left brain thinkers from the engineering and trades backgorund, and this is the great feedback we received from the Head of School, Michael Melaugh
‘Denise
I have extracted some of the comments from the evaluation sheets my colleagues completed to add to the statement below:
Based on the feedback I received from the post training evaluations, the event was enjoyable, worthwhile and very beneficial to my staff. The ‘interactive and fun’ delivery style of the trainer held the attention of all and underpinned the importance of ‘positive attitudes and thoughts. I have been involved in training for a long time and as far a delivery goes, this really is a breath of fresh air. A summary of attendee comments are included below;
“It was a very different type of training-a new experience for me- very enjoyable”
“The trainer was genuine and enthusiastic”
“I liked the upbeat presentation and I learned about tools to improve the quality of my life”
“Really enjoyed the event, good fun and very useful”
“I learned the importance of thinking positive thoughts”
“I learned that positive thinking makes you happy and brings you further in life”
“I understand how to get rid of negative energy/influences”
“Positivity is infectious, get it, pass it on”
“I can now change my thoughts around to feel better in situations”
“I learned that everybody is basically the same with thoughts of good and bad, it’s what we do with it – think positive”
What a fantastic time we had in April when we delivered the Positive Parties Transition Programme for St Catherine’s Primary School. The boy and girls came together for the first time to meet their new class mates for Sept 2015 and their new teacher too. It was a magical 2 weeks, delivering 2 Positive Parties sessions a day and including some Mini Me Yoga too.
Our PP workshops for EYEspeak, a support group who are partially sighted, in May were as interactive and fun as always and we are delivering again to this group and its new members in Sept
Lots happening in June with our ‘Go For It’ P7 Positive Parties in Primary School. We have already delivered to our long standing clients Killen PS and Knockloughrim PS and more to come over this month. Plus we have more NWRC staff teams, Belfast City Council staff teams and delivery for Derry Healthy Cities too.
The updating of our training manuals for our franchisees is still underway and we will be announcing a date of the launch to potential franchisees soon.
So for planning staff training, team teabuiling, motivational talks with a difference for Summer, Autumn & Winter 2015 may we be the first you contact. Send email to info@positiveparties.com or phone PPHQ on 0044 2881659505 mobile 0044 779079313
