As always we take a break during the summer with our latest news since its quiet for training in all sectors and the Positive Parties Team take this time to wind down and relax. We are back now in PPHQ, rejuvenated and busy planning and preparing for the eventful autumn/winter schedule ahead of us.
Since our June edition we had a great article in the Business Section of the Belfast Telegraph on the 17th June and we have a great response from it too. The journalist captures our founder/CEO Denise Devlin’s energy perfectly and titled the article ‘Beat workplace blues with Positive Parties.’ And to quote a few sentences “The idea of corporate training conjures up images of a group of employees sitting around a table watching a Power Point presentations but Northern Irish company Positive Parties is breaking the mold with its innovative, inspirational and motivational teaching style. The company founded by Denise Devlin, offers employers a new and fun way to motivate staff, which has the added benefits of promoting a positive mental attitude in the workplace and enhancing peoples work-life balance.”
June was ‘full on’ with our popular ‘Go For It’ Positive Parties workshops which we deliver in the summer term in Primary Schools to the P7 classes. Principals see the benefits in giving a great learning experience ‘send off’ to their pupils who have been at the school for 7 years It’s also a ‘thank you for being here and a good luck and positive vibes for you next 5 to 7 years education in your new school.’
Before the holiday we also ran a Positive Parties team building session for North West Regional College HR and Admin staff. The feedback was so positive the HR manager wants us back in October and then run regular sessions to different departments throughout the year. We also attended their Positive Health & Wellbeing day and delivered taster session for staff.
One of the companies who saw our article in the Belfast Telegraph was Legal-Island. We delivered a Positive Parties workshop to 14 of their staff, including the MD Jayne Gallagher and Head of Learning and Development, Scott Alexander. The feedback was fantastic with one of the team members saying afterwards ‘I will remember that training (in a good way of course) until the day I die!” And Scott Alexander, says he would happily recommend Positive Parties to Legal-Island customers, which we are delighted about as this means a lot to us coming from someone who is such an expert in the world of training, learning and development. We are taking a stand at the next Legal-island Northern Ireland HR Exchange Event in the Ramada Inn, Belfast on the 23rd Sept. We also had this training session with Legal-Island videoed, so watch this space for the release of our new promotional video.
Lots happening over the next couple of months with recurring customers such as Cooperation Ireland, Barnardo’s, St Mary’s College, St Wolston College, Strabane & Omagh District Councils, etc and bookings from Allianz, Pramerica, Tesco, are all in the pipeline. Plus we have team developments days for schools ‘health & wellbeing for staff’ booked in too! Busy delivering times ahead and our website is being revamped! We are really excited about that!
